Is your jewellery set with one or more gemstones?

Gemstones have different degrees of hardness and should be handled with care despite their hardness and suitability for jewellery. They can crack or split by falling on stone floors, even diamonds. Please avoid hard knocks and take them off e.g. when gardening.
